Quasi-Proof
Just in case you didn't believe that bit about working atop KT-22, here the proof, sort of. That's me on my daily ride up to the place where I took and sold the photos. The photographer is standing where I stood. Back in those days, money changed hands and photos were mailed later. The building at the lower center is Blyth Arena.

I love this picture! You are gorgeous!
Make that "was." :-(
What a babe! And, brave. My fear of heights would have kicked in long before then
I'm terrified of heights, too, but somehow being in that cradle I felt safe. Go figure. ???
You are and were beautiful. Marvellous picture.
Do you mean cradle as in the lift or cradle as in the mountains surrounding you? Probably the former, but I can see how you might mean you felt protected by the mountains, because I sure do.
Thanks, Willa.
I meant the lift. I'm in awe of the mountains, and intimidated by them. I need to live near the sea. Not a river or a lake, but an ocean.
One of the great things about Pagans (assuming you are one) is that in my observation they all love the land where they live, as it seems you love the mighty Rockies.
The power of the ocean still haunts me. It sounds like I am to oceans as you are to mountains.
And yes, I am a Pagan. I'm enrolled in Thorn's two-year Feri training in Denver, eagerly awaiting our first meeting at the end of July.
